Ok, let me start out by saying I never thought I’d be in a bind so bad that my family couldn’t help me out. This Aid Page is a last resort. I’m a 23 year old mother to a 19 month old little girl named Dakota. She is my one and only Pride and Joy. Lately someone has been taken from her that holds a very dear spot in our hearts and that’s her father. Jesse has been arrest for child support. What jerks my chain about this situation is Jesse has never denied his first child and attempted to visit at least 3 times a week. The visits slowly fell through because the mother of the child had to have her entire family present for Jesse to visit. When Jesse would visit his first child him the baby and the mother would all have to be in the living room. Her mother would stand in the kitchen and listen and watch like a hawk. The uncle to the mother would stand on the back porch, and the father and brother on the front porch. So when 1 family member couldn’t be there, neither could Jesse. Jesse paid his support faithfully for the first year or better. It became harder and harder it seemed the more he worked the more she say the child needed. And our domestic relations never checked her proof of income, rent or weather or not the child actually attended day care. Finally it got to the point where she was getting 55% of his checks just to cover the arrears. We didn’t even have money to pay our own bills. We were getting shut off notices for our electric and phone and the 1 decent running car we had was on the verge of being reposed. Jesse decided this was no way to live. So he would work under the table, so that we could get caught up on our bills. Then he would find another job on the books. We continued on like this for months at a time. Well all it took to ruin our lives his for her to push the arrears and automatically have him come up with 2500 or 10 months in prison. Well there was no way we could get that kind of money in a month. So Jesse was to appear at the prison to start serving his time. Well, he didn’t want to go to jail then because we weren’t stable. The home wasn’t paid off, and I was working any where from 16-40 hours. There was no set schedule for me so my hours varied greatly. Jesse lived a life on the run for 9 months. Working under the table to get the house paid off as soon as possible. Every thing was going ok until he was driving down the turn pike and got a flat tire, pulled off to change it when a police man stopped to see if he needed help. Of course they had to run his name first. He was arrested on the warrant for not appearing to turn himself in. His own mother and father won’t even help him in this situation. They knew that a lot of child support and heard the rumors of the child not being in day care and the possibility that the child isn’t his. They could have gone for their grandparent rights; they could have done so much in this case but chooses to turn the other cheek. I’m asking for $3000 to purge the child support. I’m despite for help. This is the longest Jesse and Dakota have ever been apart and it’s hurting all of us. WWe will pay every last cent back to whomever steps up to help. I’ve tried loan company after loan company no one will give me a loan for $3000 because of my income. Most of my family is on a fixed income so they can’t help either. It would mean the world to a young family and give them more hope and faith then anyone could ever imagine. When Jesse is out of jail he’s planning on working 2 jobs. Along with fighting for his rights as a father to visit or even get custody of his daughter. We’re going to try like heck for a DNA test, and prove that the mother was lying on her paper work. All with hopes of getting the support lowered greatly or even dropped. Like I said earlier every last cent will be repaid as soon as possible. This would mean the world to my family.
